Today is good day

I am very excited about 2009 - we have a new President, new hopes, and dreams—I am determined to really turn this year into the best it can be. The down-turned economy doesn't bother me - I think America needs a little shaking up to see that we need to get our priorities straight and that life isn't always a bowl of cherries. There are people starving all over the world, people who are persecuted and we have had it way too easy. We need to turn our thoughts to education and family and health care. I think we are starting to see the environment is a direct result of human action and bold moves need to be made!!! Well, that's all for now., I'm starting to rant - and this is my first blog - so I'll cool it a little. Let's just say that I have a lot to be thankful for!! If more people were thankful we would have less hate and turmoil in our lives and the world would be a better place.

Until next time,

Grace Wells

  1. Hi Grace,
I didn't think you were ranting at all! You are right-it's time to get serious about the environment,(or heaven help us)our families, our health. In a nutshell, the important stuff. Now I am sounding too serious! I am at a serious time in my life as far as health and diet concerns. I recently received a book that has inspired me in so many ways. It is called,
It Can Be Done A must read for sure. I too, have oodles to be thankful for. A wonderful family, a secure job, lots of love. Please come visit my blog. Isobella
